Dr. María Arrimada

Investigadora Colaboradora. Área de Psicología Evolutiva y de la Educación de la Universidad de León. 

Doctor in Educational Psychology and Educational Sciences at University of Leon. She developed her thesis under a predoctoral grant for University Teachers’ Training (FPU) awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Education, which allowed her to teach in different Education academic degrees. She got the Extraordinary Award for both her degree and her master’s, as well as the second prize of the Arquimedes University Contest for junior researchers. Her research interests focus on writing instruction at the beginning of compulsory education and the prevention of writing difficulties through the Response to Intervention model. She has taken several research stays at foreign universities such as Vanderbilt University and Nottingham Trent University and she participates in different national and international research projects.
