She is a professor in the area of Social Psychology at University of Leon and teaches both at Faculty of Education and Faculty of Work Sciences. She got her PhD in Psychology and Educational Sciences with the international mention. She got the PhD Extraordinary Award in the field of Social and Legal Sciences. She has taken stays as research staff at Vanderbilt University (United States) and Winterthur (Switzerland). Her research interests focus on various fields: cognitive processes and written composition, social support networks and innovation in higher education.
